“We ask for health and peace in the world.” Minority pilgrimage…

“Called by the grace of Christ, let us hold fast to his Gospel.” This is the motto of the 29th pilgrimage of national and ethnic minorities organized today (02/06) on Mount Saint-Pierre. Anna.

The sanctuary was visited by many Silesians, but also by believers of German origin and Roma. As Father Piotr Tarliński, Episcopal Vicar for National and Ethnic Minorities, says, this year the emphasis is on the Gospel. – We want the Gospel to be a greater basis for human life – he emphasizes.

– There are many ideas for life. Old ideologies are resurrected, new ideologies emerge. There is a lot of mental confusion about this. Living as free people, we always have the opportunity to choose and that is great. Freedom is characterized by the fact that a person makes this decision in his conscience, through his thought and reflection.

We asked the faithful with what intentions they had come to Mount St. Anna.

– First of all, we thank God that we are 85 and 87 years old and that we can still walk on our own. We thank God that we have lived together for so many years. We always ask God for health and peace in the world.

– Firstly, we ask for health, secondly, success in the family and thirdly, priestly vocations.

– I thank God for my grandson and for peace in my family. I also ask for other graces, for good health for all and from Saint Anne, asking her to help us.

The solemn Mass was celebrated by Mgr Andrzej Czaja, Ordinary of the Diocese of Opole.
