Polish representatives landed in the capital of Qatar – Doha on Thursday. They then settled in a luxury hotel and began preparations for his first World Cup appearance. This will take place on Tuesday, November 22, when the Biało-Czerwoni will face the Mexico national team.
Unofficially: Andrzej Duda will not fly to Qatar for the World Cup
President Andrzej Duda is known for his personal support of Polish representatives at important sporting events. Despite the tough rules, he supported Biało-Czerwony during the Tokyo Olympics. As Radio Zet unofficially informs, the president could be missing during the fight in Qatar. The reason for the president’s absence from an important football event is believed to be the tense situation related to the war in Ukraine and the recent an explosion in Przewodowo.
– It is about the tense situation in the country after the explosion of a rocket in Przewodów and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Faced with these events, the president wants to limit travel abroad to a minimum, which would force him to leave the territory of the Republic of Poland for longer, said one of the presidential ministers in a radio interview.

As already mentioned, the Poles took part in Football World Cup will begin on Tuesday, November 22. At 5:00 p.m. Polish time, the first whistle of the game against Mexico will sound.
