WhatsApp crash. Users around the world are reporting the issue


PThe WhatsApp messaging platform is experiencing a global outage. Users of the Meta-owned platform began reporting issues just before 8 a.m. The Poles have them too.

Many people have complained on social media that they can’t send or receive messages. WhatsApp has approximately two billion active users worldwide. It is one of the most popular communication platforms in the world.




Messages not going through, unable to make calls

Users trying to message each other only encounter a spinning loading symbol at the top of the UI. Most likely have access to the app and their chatsbut are unable to send or receive messages. A single or double tick next to a message, indicating that the message was sent and delivered to another user, is not displayed.

Can’t make calls either to other users. An icon appears at the top of the app indicating that there is no internet connection. “We are aware of serious disturbances affecting the ability to send messages through WhatsApp Business Platform. Our teams are working to mitigate this issue,” is the brief explanation Meta just posted. We already know that failure has affected people worldwide. Information about the problems comes from different countries. Its causes are unknown.



Some users are annoyed by the outage, others have already started mass producing memes about WhatsApp issues. Twitter users who mock WhatsApp people and Mark Zuckerberg are on the front line. Every time Facebook or WhatsApp goes down, traffic increases exponentially Twitter.
