The WhatsApp messaging service stopped working at some point a few hours ago and it seems to be a major global failure. Problems with the service, owned by Meta, began around 8-9am today, preventing users from sending and receiving messages.
If users write and then try to send messages, the service does not support the message at all. For now, Meta is silent and informs you what could be the reason for this state of affairs. There are already reports that Polish users of the service are also having problems.
As reported by DownDetector, reports of the WhatsApp crash first appeared in North America (i.e. the United States and Canada) and Europe. More news that the service is not working began to arrive successively from all over the world.

At one point, a WhatsApp spokesperson spoke up, saying, “We are aware that some people are having trouble sending messages at the moment and we are working to fix the crash as soon as possible.” The case is so sad that Whatsapp is one of the most used messaging apps in the world, used by around two billion people worldwide.
