Vladimir Poutine announced at the end of September the annexation of the occupied territories of southern and eastern Ukraine. The pseudo-referendum on the annexation of Ukrainian lands to Russia began on September 23 in the oblasts DonetskLugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia. The vote in this case took place under duress from the electoral commission and the Russian army. They lasted until September 27.
Russia builds border between Ukraine and occupied territories
Russia put border between the occupied territories and Ukraine, reports Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhia regional military administration. “Currently occupants they try to draw the line of the “state border” as it was after annexation Crimea and Donbass, and set their own rules for crossing it. As a result, our citizens are not fired, especially men of recruiting age,” Oleksandr Staruk wrote on Telegram.
The head of the Zaporizhia regional military administration pointed out that recently the border was crossed by between a thousand and two thousand people a day. These people could “enter the regional center”. On Monday, only eight people showed up. “Only eight people managed to cross the border post! In fact, the transit was stopped,” Oleksandr Starukh wrote on Telegram.
Ukrainian army recaptures cities occupied by Russia
Tuesday Ukrainian the soldiers captured a few more villages in the south of the country. This was confirmed, among others, by the president’s office. The soldiers themselves released recordings of the liberated villages. In one of the recordings, Ukrainian soldiers from the 35th Separate Marine Brigade report the liberation of the village of Dawydiv Brid, located on the Ingulec River, on the border of Mykolaiv and Kherson. In the video, Ukrainian military officials solemnly raise a blue and yellow flag.

Other liberated villages in Kherson Oblast, records of which Ukrainian soldiers released, are: Starosilla, Archanhelskie and Wełyka Oleksandrivka. According to unofficial information, the Ukrainian army from Kherson Oblast has recently captured several towns along the Dnieper – including Zolota Balka, Novooleksandrivka and Havryłivka – and is heading south towards Dudczany.
