This is the next edition of the list AirHelp Score airports. This year, the final result of the different airports was calculated on the basis of scores awarded in three categories: punctuality, quality of service, gastronomic offer and shopping possibilities.
This year’s edition of AirHelp Score regarding the best airports in the world opens Hamad airport. The next places, like last year, were taken by Athens and Tokyo airports. This year’s ranking includes Lech Wałęsa Airport in Gdańsk was ranked 5th, receiving very high marks both in terms of punctuality, quality of service and services. Consistently one of the best airports in the world

Regarding individual categories only, in terms of “punctuality”, the best airports are: Charleroi in Brussels (14th place in the ranking) and Moscow-Sheremetyevo (6th place in the ranking). This year’s AirHelp Score airport rankings include 132 airports around the world that are the most famous and most frequented by tourists.
The rating in the “Punctuality” category results from the analysis of numerous sources, including: own data and those of government agencies and airports, as well as meteorological and historical data. The “Quality of service” and “Food and shops” ratings were awarded on the basis of surveys carried out among more than 40,000 people. passengers. Travelers were asked about their opinions in terms of: customer service, waiting times at security checks, cleanliness, shopping possibilities and gastronomic offer.
The ranking is based on data collected from January 1 to December 31, 2018.
