This is the next edition of the list AirHelp Score airports. This year, the final result of the different airports was calculated on the basis of scores awarded in three categories: punctuality, quality of service, gastronomic offer and shopping possibilities.

This year’s edition of AirHelp Score regarding the best airports in the world opens Hamad airport. The next places, like last year, were taken by Athens and Tokyo airports. The rating in the “Punctuality” category results from the analysis of numerous sources, including: own data and those of government agencies and airports, as well as meteorological and historical data. The “Quality of service” and “Food and shops” ratings were awarded on the basis of surveys carried out among more than 40,000 people. passengers. Travelers were asked about their opinions in terms of: customer service, waiting times at security checks, cleanliness, shopping possibilities and gastronomic offer.
The ranking is based on data collected from January 1 to December 31, 2018.
