The fourth edition of EEC Trends

Participants of EEC Trends – entrepreneurs and managers, as well as representatives of the administration and experts – during an open discussion will indicate the most important trends, phenomena and processes that will determine the outlook for the Polish, European economy and worldwide in 2023 and beyond. The recommendations of EEC Trends will be used in the work on the agenda of the 15th edition of the European Economic Congress.

We have a difficult year ahead of us, but it will also be difficult – in the face of dynamic volatility and instability – to discuss economic and geopolitical scenarios for the months and years ahead.

EEC Trends takes up this challenge: the February meeting will cover the most important phenomena of the economy – the pervasive effects of the complicated geopolitical situation with the energy crisis at the forefront, and in this context the transformation of the energy sector. energy and the processes of adapting the economy to climate challenges, as well as phenomena linked to the slowdown or the conditions for accelerating digitalization.

Participants will also discuss areas that have been particularly volatile in recent years: global trade and expansion as well as investments in logistics and transport.

The discussion, of course, will not miss the topic of Ukraine, in which – it is to be hoped – Kyiv’s motives for reconstruction and European aspirations will outweigh issues of political, military and humanitarian support, which are still a priority today.

Tough economic realities don’t prevent successful businesses, and those who navigate stormy seas efficiently deserve special appreciation.

CIS Awards Gala

During EEC Trends, the WNP Awards gala will be held, awarded by the editors of the economic portal WNP.PL. The prizes are awarded to those who improve the Polish economy through their actions. Each year, the winners are individuals, institutions and companies that have recently had a significant and decisive impact on the Polish economy.
